As we enter 2022, we are hopeful for transformative change. Unfortunately, women in this country still face serious barriers to achieving economic justice.
Women's economic security is threatened in the best of times, but during a pandemic the situation is even more dire. For the last two years during the COVID-19 pandemic, women have made up the majority of job losses and layoffs, and Black women, Latinas, and other minority demographic groups face even higher unemployment rates.
NOW supporters like you are the grassroots who've made so much progress in the last 55 years. Our community doesn't accept the status quo, that "this is the way it's always been."
