Detroit DSA is a 1200+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in the interests of our members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make monthly contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Thank you for whatever amount you're able to contribute!

Jumpstart Socialism for a New Tomorrow Telethon

Friday, July 30th at 8PM

We don't know what resolutions will be passed at this year's convention, but we know we will leave the convention with our next two years of organizing cut out for us. And that means we're going to need funds to make all that organizing happen! That's why we're kicking off this year's convention with a telethon fundraiser to Jumpstart Socialism for a New Tomorrow on Friday July 30th at 8pm ET. <[link removed]>

The telethon is a chance to celebrate the work we've accomplished so far and get ready for the work we still have ahead of us. RSVP to hear from DSA chapters, electeds, and special guests and help kick off the convention by celebrating our working class movement! <[link removed]> When we fund our own work we get to organize for the world we want, and that's how we win.

Primary Election Poll Standing

Tuesday, August 3rd

Primary Election Day is August 3rd and we need your help reaching voters at the polls. Having a person at the polling location greeting voters will help get votes for Detroit for All!

We would love to have you on board, no former campaign or political experience needed!

We'll show you the ropes and together engage our community in meaningful change. Your work outside the polls will be vital to swaying undecided voters in the last minutes before they vote.

Food and refreshments will be provided throughout Election Day to all volunteers. You can also use the sign up form to indicate any other needs you have. We will also ensure that all volunteers have the supplies and support they need to stay safe.

VOLUNTEER <[link removed]>

P.S. - Denzel's campaign is planning an Election Day Watch Party! Stay tuned for details on where to join everyone to relax and watch the results come in.
