Come help out neighbors this weekend and picnic with us next weekend!

We're coming to the tail end of Summer and Fall is going to be busy. This weekend we'll be tabling at the We The People march ([link removed]) to City Hall, holding our regular brake light clinic ([link removed]) at Bayou Rd and N. Dorgenois, canvassing in support of Green for Agriculture and Forestry ([link removed]) , and hosting a Solidarity in the Park event ([link removed]) where we'll change brake lights, provide free health screenings, and help folks lower their medical debt. Whew!

Next week we're releasing our Voter Guide for the state elections. Join us at Picnic at the Polls ([link removed]) on Saturday the 28th, where we'll be eating lots of fried chicken, red beans, and hearing from some progressive candidates for office.

The following weekend on October 4th, DSA will partner with the city's recreational department to host a free, family-friendly screening of Wall-E ([link removed]) .

We hope you join us! We've got a better world to build and we know it's going to take all of us to win.

** *Green for Agriculture & Forestry*
------------------------------------------------------------
In June, New Orleans DSA endorsed our first ever candidate for office. Marguerite Green ([link removed]) is a longtime DSA member, Louisiana native and farmer running for State Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry on a food, farms, climate and cannabis platform. DSA is all in for Margee and has been canvassing across South Louisiana! Join us at one of our canvasses ([link removed]) and remember to vote Green on Oct 12th.
