We know the election is coming soon, and no matter the outcome, we must be prepared for whatever is to come. Join us on Sunday at 1:00 for a check-in about TCDSA's plan. Register here ([link removed]) .
What do we need to do to be prepared? Get connected. We want you plugged into your neighborhood ([link removed]) . Connect with other DSA members in your neighborhood, and identify and build relationships with other existing groups. Many local pods sprang up during the uprising this last summer - it is paramount to build off them where they exist. Sign up here ([link removed]) to get connected with your Regional Captains. Get trained. We are encouraging every member before a possible mobilization to learn about deescalation, information security, and marshaling, all critical skills to have in this moment. We have two training sessions coming up, Saturday 10/24 at 3 ([link removed]) and Wednesday 10/28 at 7 ([link removed]) .
Take action. Save the date for an action 11/1 at 1pm (tentative -- more info to come at Sunday's check-in).
We do not know what is going to happen after the election, but we need our structures in place to have a powerful response and to keep each other safe.
