Tonight is the first debate of the campaign - and I'll be joining millions of Canadians to watch Jagmeet fight hard for us.

He's going to show every Canadian that he's in it for people - and that this election, we can choose leaders that put us and our families before big corporations.

Our teams on the ground are telling me that people are feeling inspired by Jagmeet's message and the huge amount of energy from yesterday's launch. Canadians are feeling betrayed by Justin Trudeau. He said a lot of pretty words, but then he chose to help his super rich friends over everyday people. It's no wonder he's not coming tonight - I'm sure he doesn't want to have to answer for his broken promises.

And we know Andrew Scheer will cut the things like housing and health care that we count on - because cutting is what Conservatives do.
