Tonight is the first debate of the campaign – and I’ll be joining millions of Canadians to watch Jagmeet fight hard for us.

He’s going to show every Canadian that he’s in it for people – and that this election, we can choose leaders that put us and our families before big corporations.

Our teams on the ground are telling me that people are feeling inspired by Jagmeet’s message and the huge amount of energy from yesterday’s launch. And we know that Jagmeet’s performance tonight is going to get even more people on board. Now we need to give our teams the resources to build on that energy – can you chip in $3 right now to help?

Canadians are feeling betrayed by Justin Trudeau. He said a lot of pretty words, but then he chose to help his super rich friends over everyday people. It’s no wonder he’s not coming tonight – I’m sure he doesn’t want to have to answer for his broken promises.

And we know Andrew Scheer will cut the things like housing and health care that we count on – because cutting is what Conservatives do.

More and more Canadians are excited about Jagmeet and our team – but we need the resources to reach people and get them on board. That’s why it’s so important we hit our fundraising deadline tonight. Will you chip in $3 before midnight?
