Dear John,

It's no secret the women and girls imprisoned in the Trump administration's immigration detention jails are being violated physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The conditions in these detention centers are inhumane. Sexual and physical assault are a constant threat. Women are denied access to birth control, abortion care, and personal hygiene necessities. Pregnant women and new mothers are forced to live in cold, overcrowded cells with little to no access to prenatal care. And mothers have been separated from their children.

Enough is enough. NOW is demanding humane treatment for detained immigrants. Last week we launched the Unlock the Future campaign to advocate for women and girls suffering in detention prisons. Together we're making our voices heard across the country for those who can't speak for themselves, and you can join us and support women who need you today.

As a feminist, I know you stand with our sisters detained in these camps. Survivors of unimaginable hardship are being locked away in overcrowded, inhumane conditions for trying to build a better life for themselves and their families in this country. And there's no end to their suffering in sight.

Your gift today will help us advocate for the thousands of women and girls detained in Trump's immigration prisons and reform the unjust immigration practices in the detention prison system.

Seeking asylum is not a crime, and these women and girls are not criminals. With you on our side, we're pushing back against Trump's cruelty, and demanding justice for women and girls in immigration detention prisons. Donate today to Unlock the Future.
