Truth Initiative kicks off Celebration Bowl partnership spotlighting tobacco’s impact on Black communities and connects fans with quit support ([link removed])
Truth Initiative is joining the 2025 Celebration Bowl – the annual championship game showcasing the best of HBCU football, hosted in Atlanta, Georgia. The partnership will shine a light on the disproportionate impact of tobacco on Black health and build on the work of its Culture + Cessation Collective ([link removed]) by bringing culturally relevant quitting support directly to fans who need it, through Truth Initiative’s free digital EX Program ([link removed]) for quitting. The Celebration Bowl will air on Saturday, December 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Alaska: Alaska reached a $5.8 million settlement with Juul, ending a five-year legal battle that accused the company of targeting young Alaskans with e-cigarettes. Half the proceeds will fund Alaska’s tobacco prevention and control programs, and the other half will fund consumer protection programs in the state.
