** Special Meeting

This Saturday, May 30th, at 2 p.m. we are having a Special Meeting to discuss and vote on three amendments to our Chapter Bylaws. You can read the details of the proposed bylaw amendments here ([link removed]) . Context for each amendment is included in the full text so that you can see the purpose of the amendment.

Our chapter bylaws are similar to a constitution: they outline how our chapter is structured at a fundamental level. We invite you to read over the proposed amendments and join us as we discuss them! At this meeting we'll also give a brief overview of Robert's Rules of Order, which we use to conduct business and debate. In June we will be electing officers to our Local Council. We will be electing co-chairs, a treasurer, a secretary, a membership chair, and two at-large members.
