Today, I am honored to be officially sworn in as the next Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), taking on the torch passed by Congressman Horsford.
[link removed] [[link removed]]We have a unique challenge ahead of us, but I will follow in Rep. Horsford’s legacy by leading with optimism and using every tool at our disposal to advocate for Black families and communities across the country.
Our work will require us to do everything we can to center ourselves and build up our beloved community. As leader of the largest Congressional Black Caucus in history, I’m ready to meet this moment and lead with integrity. We will continue to fight for equity, criminal justice reform, and the economic development and advancement of Black families and communities.
Our work towards freedom, justice, and equity continues to take on more urgency, and we must use everything we can to win this fight and accomplish our goals –
Will you do your part to support our work? Together, we can ensure our community can achieve our goals and oppose the hateful rhetoric in Washington. Will you commit to pitching in $10 per month to support my leadership and our collective work? [[link removed]]
