It’s official — more than 100,000 people have signed up for This is Quitting, our text message quit vaping program, and we know it's working. More than half of users said they stopped using e-cigarettes, or at least used them less, after two weeks of signing up for the program.

Oroville, California — The City Council passed an ordinance prohibiting the sale of all flavored tobacco products.

San Diego County, California — The Board of Supervisors passed an ordinance to take effect July 1 that prohibits the sale of flavored tobacco products, establishes a 1-year moratorium on e-cigarette sales and prohibits smoking in outdoor dining areas. Hookah use is exempt from the ordinance for the time being.
