As an emergency physician, I’ve treated victims of mass shootings, those that have taken their own lives, and even a toddler who found his parent’s gun, accidentally shot himself, and died in my emergency department. I march for their lives.
Again this week we saw in the news yet another school shooting in Colorado. Gun violence is a public health crisis on which we must take action.
