I’ve treated every type of gunshot victim you can imagine and ones you don’t want to imagine.

Yesterday I marched with hundreds of advocates to end gun violence in our communities. Watch my remarks here.

As an emergency physician, I’ve treated victims of mass shootings, those that have taken their own lives, and even a toddler who found his parent’s gun, accidentally shot himself, and died in my emergency department. I march for their lives.

Again this week we saw in the news yet another school shooting in Colorado. Gun violence is a public health crisis on which we must take action.

The gun lobby is coming for me, but I will not back down on this issue. Will you stand with me and say "enough is enough" by donating $25, $50, or $100 today?

Together, we can make lasting change to end gun violence in our communities.
