Dear John,



I am writing to you today to call attention to the HYPOCRISY of Socialist Congresswoman Cori Bush of Missouri, who has been a vocal proponent of defunding the police, yet has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on private security for herself and her campaign.



Recently, it has been revealed that her campaign paid her now-husband $60,000 <[link removed]> for “security services” despite him not having a private security license. This is a clear violation of campaign finance laws <[link removed]>, and it is a misuse of funds.



But what makes this even more egregious is the fact that Rep. Bush has been a vocal proponent of “defunding” the police. She has called for the reallocation of police funds to social programs and has been critical of law enforcement. Yet, when it comes to HER OWN safety and the safety of her campaign, she has NO PROBLEM spending hundreds of thousands of donor dollars on private security.



This is blatant hypocrisy, and we cannot let it go unchallenged. That's why I'm asking you to take action now and chip in $10 or more to support our efforts to hold Socialist Congresswoman Cori Bush accountable. <[link removed]>
