Brandon's campaign reminds me a lot of my own campaign back in 2020. We
were up against a 31-year incumbent who was swimming in campaign
donations. He was unashamed in his representation of the corrupt
corporations and private interests who were constantly conspiring to keep
our communities suppressed and oppressed. It was clear that he was never a
true representation of our community. 

But when push came to shove, we came together, we organized, we mobilized,
and we worked harder than ever before to change the tides of our
democracy. And now Chicago has the opportunity to do the same thing and
elect Brandon Johnson as Mayor so he can bring the change all Chicagoans
deserve.

Brandon is a visionary who sees the intersectionality of affordable
housing, public health, environmental justice, police reform, and
education. He knows that a lack of investment in any of these sectors
results in generational disadvantages for our kids. He is a man of great
character, intellect, and integrity and I look forward to seeing his
grassroots campaign get across the finish line.
