Today is Women’s Equal Pay Day, the symbolic day for how far into the year women must work to be paid what men were paid the previous year; and March 14th is 73 days into 2023.

June 15 - LGBTQ+ Equal Pay Awareness Day
July 27 — Black Women's Equal Pay Day
August 15 - Mom's Equal Pay Day
October 5 - Latina Equal Pay Day
Nov 30 - Native Women's Equal Pay Day

Last week, we celebrated International Women’s Day and highlighted the barrier-breaking achievements of Washington women. But despite this progress, we are still far off from true gender equity.
