No War, No Empire.
As Democratic Socialists, we emphatically oppose a U.S. war with Iran. In light of the U.S.’ act of aggression against Iran, putting the two nations close to the brink of war, DSA calls on all members to mobilize against yet another U.S. war in the Middle East.
War would also derail our own domestic fights for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and other vital programs. And it would bring thousands more working-class people from the US into the war zone.
We reject further war, imperialism and militarism by our government. We oppose a war against Iran, call for the lifting of sanctions, the rejoining of the Iran Nuclear deal, and the removal of U.S. troops from Iraq.
Join us for the Los Angeles part of the Global Day of Protest – No War On Iran! this Saturday, January 25th at Los Angeles City Hall (200 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012). <[link removed]>
DSA contingent will meet at 12:30pm at the south steps of City Hall (1st street side). Or find us in the main protest beginning at 1:00pm. Wear a DSA shirt or other gear if you have it!
