Dear John,

Happy International Women’s Day to our friends around the globe challenging the unjust power dynamics that maintain inequity!

Today our blog [[link removed]]reflects on how colonialism, global power inequalities and women’s empowerment are intertwined.

The legacy of colonial underdevelopment, maintained by the current economic system, has created a vastly unequal global society, which disproportionately impacts on women and girls and affects all aspects of women’s lives.

Only as a truly global community, united in the struggles, will we see equity.

Please read and share!

In solidarity,

Natalie Sharples
