Dear members and supporters,
We are kicking off International Working Women’s Week and commemorating
Berta Caceres’ birthday with the launch of our newest guidebook,
_DECOLONIAL POPULAR FEMINIST EDUCATION_ [3], from the Facilitator’s
School at our Berta Caceres International Feminist Organizing School
(IFOS).
Join us to learn how we organized our first Facilitator’s School in 2022
to teach a decolonized curriculum, grounded in grassroots feminist
principles and a popular education methodology. We will share the process
of creating the book, which includes study materials, how to develop
feminist organizing schools, and how IFOS relates to local communities.
Graduates of our Facilitator’s School will share personal experiences of
participating over the past year, as well as ideas to continue these
trainings in the future.
Our Facilitator’s cohort included more than 100 people from 38 countries,
many of whom participated as students in our 2021 IFOS. By training IFOS
students to teach others, we are growing a worldwide movement of people
working toward a vision of a feminist, regenerative, life-affirming
economy.

Queridas amigas, amigos, y amigues,
Celebramos la Semana Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora y conmemoramos
el cumpleaños de Berta Cáceres con el lanzamiento de nuestra guía nueva,
_EDUCACIÓN POPULAR FEMINISTA DESCOLONIAL_ [3], de la Escuela de
Facilitadoras en nuestra Escuela Organizativa Feminista Internacional Berta
Cáceres (IFOS por sus siglas en inglés).
Acompáñenos para aprender cómo organizamos nuestra primera Escuela de
Facilitadoras en 2022 para enseñar una currícula descolonizada, arraigada
en principios feministas de la base y una metodología de educación
popular. Compartiremos el proceso de crear el manual, el cual incluye
materiales de estudio, cómo desarrollar escuelas organizativas feministas
y cómo IFOS se relaciona con comunidades locales.
Quienes se graduaron de nuestra Escuela de Facilitadoras compartirán
experiencias personales de su participación el año pasado, así como
ideas para continuar con estas capacitaciones en el futuro.

de IFOS para facilitar con otras personas, estamos cultivando un movimiento
