Dear members and supporters, We are kicking off International Working Women’s Week and commemorating Berta Caceres’ birthday with the launch of our newest guidebook, Decolonial Popular Feminist Education, from the Facilitator’s School at our Berta Caceres International Feminist Organizing School
(IFOS). Join us to learn how we organized our first Facilitator’s School in 2022 to teach a decolonized curriculum, grounded in grassroots feminist principles and a popular education methodology. We will share the process of creating the book, which includes study materials, how to develop feminist organizing schools, and how IFOS relates to local communities. Graduates of our Facilitator’s School will share personal experiences of participating over the past year, as well as ideas to continue these trainings in the future. Our Facilitator’s cohort included more than 100 people from 38 countries, many of whom participated as students in our
2021 IFOS. By training IFOS students to teach others, we are growing a worldwide movement of people working toward a vision of a feminist, regenerative, life-affirming economy.
