Presidential inaugural poet Richard Blanco will visit the Institute for a Getting to the Point discussion on the themes he explores in his recent poetry collection, How to Love a Country, and how Americans can find common ground through shared experiences and ideals. Mr. Blanco will perform a poetry reading as part of the program and will also participate in a book signing.

Impeachment of President Donald Trump • Today’s Vote • Daily Program

The current topic of the Today’s Vote program is the Impeachment Trial of President Donald Trump ([link removed]) . In the program, visitors participate in a live floor debate on this active piece of legislation being considered by the real Senate in Washington, D.C. The program will explain how the impeachment process works, examine past examples of impeachment, and detail the facts of the case which led to the impeachment of President Trump.
