Linking up City Centre Cycling Routes??

??‍♀️ Works continue at the Station Street/London Road junction on the latest phase of our City Centre Cycle routes, linking the east and west of the city with safe segregated cycling infrastructure.

Various, mainly off-peak lane closures will be required throughout the project as we complete the project to join the segregated cycleways nearby and install marked on road cycle lanes through the junction, improve pedestrian crossing facilities and more.

As Director for External Affairs, Norman Baker finally got a chance to experience Nottingham's tram network – which as Transport Secretary 2010-2013, *he gave final approval to for an extension doubling its size. *

And in the same week that Sheffield joined Bristol, Birmingham and Bath in charging drivers to enter the city centre, they heard about how the Workplace Parking Levy has played a part in constraining congestion growth by 47%, *helping us to improve our air quality, lower our carbon emissions and avoid a Government-imposed Clean Air Zone.*
