faculty
positions
in
nursing
and
medical-related
fields.

Establish
the
Hawaii
State
Loan
Payment
Program
to
repay
educational
loans
for
primary
care
and
behavioral
health
providers.

3.
Invest
$50
million
to
expand
Hilo
Medical
Center’s
Emergency
Room,
Intensive
Care
Unit,
and
Medical
Surgical
Unit.

Dedicate
$30
million
in
state
and
$35
million
in
federal
funding
for
Medicaid
Provider
Payments
to
expand
access
to
quality
healthcare.

Transform
Hawaii
into
a
“trauma-informed
state”
to
improve
community
health

wellness
across
