they can think of to overcharge for oil and price-gouge consumers — even
as they collect record profits. This corporate greed is driving inflation
that hurts working people, and we need to take a stand.

need to get to work, Big Oil companies like Chevron and Exxon are boasting
record profits and lining the pockets of their Shareholders and CEOs.
ExxonMobil made $77.8 billion in profits last year, a 249% increase from
2021.

This Big Oil Windfall Profits Tax Act will prevent price gouging by the
biggest oil companies while lowering consumer costs by offering relief
rebates to consumers most impacted by inflated prices. With Big Oil’s
lobby being as big as it is, this bill can only survive with grassroots
support.
