In too many of our communities, educators are leaving the profession — faced with uncompetitive salaries, difficult policies, and lack of funding. This is a serious problem for our students and educators, and it’s one that demands action. Our state hosted not one but two major sporting events in the last few weeks, as folks flocked to Arizona for the Phoenix Open. Arizonans deserve better than a budget that just kicks the can down the road. That’s why Katie vetoed the do-nothing budget proposed by a slim, partisan majority.
