AZ Central: Arizona Gov. Hobbs launching task force on educator retention, accepting applications
In too many of our communities, educators are leaving the profession — faced with uncompetitive salaries, difficult policies, and lack of funding. This is a serious problem for our students and educators, and it’s one that demands action. That’s why Katie recently announced the creation of a task force focused on educator retention, as she and her administration work to ensure educators are supported and mentored, paid fairly for the hard work they put in, able to access key benefits like health care, and more.

Now, she’s calling for elected officials to come together and have a bipartisan discussion about what can be done to address the real issues affecting the people of Arizona.
