School choice programs, like ESAs, help students break through rigid and out-of-touch systems while empowering families with educational freedom and flexibility. The focus should always be on the students, not the system.

The next generation of choice programs will place families in the driver’s seat and help educators operate outside of stultifying bureaucratic systems. With those funds, parents pay or approve educational expenses, including private school tuition, tutoring, online courses, and special education therapies. Best of all, parents can roll over unused funds from one year to the next for future education expenses, including college.

Are you an ESA parent? Share how these programs have impacted you and your family! ([link removed])

And, due to continued delay by the FDA, questionable international companies have already been able to infiltrate the existing marketplace with thousands of counterfeit vapes. ** Biden Blew a Chance To Be Honest About Inflation ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
By overemphasizing that prices are not rising as fast as they were last summer and downplaying that prices are still markedly higher than when he was sworn in, the president comes across as tone-deaf and disconnected from the everyday realities of most Americans. Americans are pessimistic about the economy precisely because of the stationary nature of inflation. Read More ([link removed])

** Disabled Lives Aren’t Worth Less ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------

The Protecting Health Care for All Patients Act would prohibit all federal healthcare programs from using quality-adjusted life years, or Qalys, to make coverage or reimbursement decisions. Qalys place a greater value on a year of additional life for a “healthy” person than they do for a person with disabilities. That’s discriminatory.

** House Votes To Stop Bill Endangering U.S. Citizen Voting Rights ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------

Changing the qualifications for who can vote has an impact on voters who already meet the qualifications. The D.C. Council’s Racial Equity Impact Assessment listed the benefits of the bill as providing non-citizens a “sense of purpose,” “building networks,” and a way to formally “express” their views. But what about the impact of this election change on existing voters — the people that D.C. City Council members are supposed to currently represent — and the assessment on how it impacts American voters?
