Friend,

It’s official: for the first time in 12 years, we will have a gun safety majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives – and a real chance to pass life-saving legislation. Help us seize this opportunity and join hundreds of other gun violence prevention advocates in Harrisburg on Thursday, March 23 for our annual Advocacy Day. And this year, we have an exciting new announcement for our Advocacy Day: we’re honored to partner with March for Our Lives.

March 23rd will be the 5th anniversary of the inaugural March For Our Lives in Washington, D.C. – when more than one million Americans came together to rally for change in response to the school shooting in Parkland, Florida that killed 17 people five years ago this very afternoon. Our Advocacy Day will be part of a coordinated series of actions organized by March For Our Lives in state capitals across the country. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to be a part of something big.

You’ll meet with legislative offices and attend a mid-day rally on the front steps of the Capitol with elected leaders, survivors, youth, faith leaders, medical professionals, and other advocates to demand change and a safer Pennsylvania.

We can’t wait any longer. Gun violence takes the lives of and injures 4,600 Pennsylvanians every year. Will you help us change this statistic on March 23?

Stay tuned for more updates, including details on free bus transportation, online trainings to help you prepare to lobby, and other details. But don’t delay, sign up today.

See you March 23!

Sincerely,
Adam Garber
