Dear friends,

Tomorrow marks five years since a violent tragedy changed our lives and our community. Every day since February 14, 2018, we’ve felt the indescribable loss that the Parkland school massacre has left in our hearts.

But in these five years, we’ve done so much to honor the memories of the daughters, sons, fathers, and spouses taken from us. Stand with Parkland’s founding families have banded together to do something about the violence in schools so that no other families have to experience the pain that we have had to endure.

And while the pain has not subsided in these five years, we’ve taken that pain to make progress towards our goal of safer schools. [[link removed]]

Our organization has been sustainably and repeatedly successful in creating, advocating for, and changing local, state, and federal laws and policies to make students and teachers safe at school.

We put partisanship aside.

We move past outrage and indignation to take action.

We work with anyone – regardless of party affiliation – who shares our commitment to ending school shootings.

The loved ones we lost deserve nothing less.

In the past five years, we’ve seen many successes in our school safety movement:

Friends, these are just a few of the accomplishments we’ve made in order to honor our loved ones whose lives were senselessly taken in the Parkland school massacre. Nothing we do will ever bring our children and spouses back to us, but we are committed to doing everything we can to protect America’s families and schools.

With your support, we can keep this important work going and create a better future for all our nation’s children.
