Friend –

Did you miss my first message?

It’s about one of the most devastating challenges children in America face today: hunger.

With inflation on the rise, nutritious food is getting harder and harder to afford. Until our nation provides the support kids urgently need, their health, development and futures will be at constant risk.

Have a minute to make a difference? Urge Congress to protect and strengthen SNAP! [[link removed]]

Christy

Hi Friend,

Did you catch last night’s State of the Union Address?

President Biden reflected on the triumphs the U.S. saw in 2022, then touched on some of the challenges we still face.

But he didn’t confront the nationwide hunger crisis — so I’ll fill you in instead.

We’re all feeling the impact of inflation. But in some communities, it’s doing more than driving prices up… it’s pushing families to the brink of poverty.

Hunger is stealing futures, and we can’t just look away. Tell Congress to protect and strengthen food support! [[link removed]]

Friend, 42 million people rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Over half are children — but at current levels, benefits just can’t keep kids adequately nourished.

If things don’t change, they could suffer devastating consequences. Stunted physical growth, delayed emotional development, trouble staying focused in school... the list, unfortunately, goes on.

Send a message: As families face the rising cost of food, SNAP benefits must be protected and strengthened. [[link removed]]
