Hi Friend,
Did you catch last night’s State of the Union Address?
President Biden reflected on the triumphs the U.S. saw in 2022, then touched on some of the challenges we still face.
But he didn’t confront the nationwide hunger crisis — so I’ll fill you in instead.
We’re all feeling the impact of inflation. But in some communities, it’s doing more than driving prices up… it’s pushing families to the brink of poverty.
Hunger is stealing futures, and we can’t just look away. Tell Congress to protect and strengthen food support!
Friend, 42 million people rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Over half are children — but at current levels, benefits just can’t keep kids adequately nourished.
If things don’t change, they could suffer devastating consequences. Stunted physical growth, delayed emotional development, trouble staying focused in school... the list, unfortunately, goes on.
Send a message: As families face the rising cost of food, SNAP benefits must be protected and strengthened.
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
