Reading Group Resumes

Comrades and Friends,

Santa Fe DSA's reading group will start discussing Richard Wright's autobiography Black Boy (chapters 1 and 2) this Saturday 11 February at 10:00 AM.

Our decision to meet at the St. Michael's Starbucks (708 St. Michael's Drive near the intersection with Calle Lorca) is of course politically motivated, but please understand that we are not there to protest management or pressure workers to unionize. Ours is a long-term strategy that begins with us just being present.

We have chosen Starbucks on a trial basis and will decide at the meeting on our next location (as the weather gets warmer, we will no doubt resume meeting in a park).

So please join us for thoughtful and comradely discussion as we lay the basis for supporting workers organizing their workplace.
