Lead court scheduler position open until 2/8/2022

We are excited to announce that we are hiring a?*Lead Court Scheduler [ [link removed] ]*!

*About the job*

The Lead Court Scheduler is a new position that will act as lead worker, monitoring and directing docketing and scheduling activities across all of OAH. The lead scheduler will:


* Provide mentoring and guidance to the court schedulers of the Administrative Law and Workers' Compensation Courts;
* Provide high-level calendaring services to OAH judges;
* Ensure statutory scheduling obligations are met; and
* Manage the mediation section of the WC Court.

*This is a hybrid work opportunity*; employees work a minimum of four days in the office per 2-week pay period.

Minimum qualifications

Knowledge of:

* OAH's mission and functions sufficient to develop administrative and program procedures.
* English sufficient to (1) speak, read, understand, and respond to written and spoken communications with internal and external customers; and (2) file and retrieve information based on content, using alphabetical filing practices.

Skill?in:

* Directing the work of office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, while correcting errors or problems.
* Developing and implementing administrative and program policies, procedures, and service standards in cooperation with management.

Ability to:

* Develop and implement work procedures for OAH's Ad Law and WC Courts.
* Plan, schedule, assign, review, and evaluate the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and C-Track case management system.

Skill in scheduling court proceedings through written correspondence and notices.


*

Strong workers? compensation or administrative law background/knowledge.


*

Ability to quickly learn new software.


*

Strong organizational and planning skills to meet timelines with limited supervision.


*

High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.


*

Ability to align behavior with the organization's needs, priorities, and goals.
