There comes a time when nearly everyone needs time off work to recover from a serious illness or care for a sick loved one or a new child. Unfortunately, the majority of workers in the United States can’t take time off work without risking their jobs.

It’s time that we have a system that allows Americans to still receive a portion of their salary when they need to take time off work for medical or family reasons.
