Here are some recent updates.
Yesterday, Idaho Republicans introduced a bill to remove student ID cards from a list of acceptable photo IDs to vote, even though the list does include concealed carry permits. The bill would also remove the option to submit a personal affidavit if voters lack accepted ID. [link removed]
Last week, the Republican-controlled Virginia House of Delegates passed two bills that would ban drop boxes in the state and cut the early in-person voting period by 31 days. Both bills are unlikely to pass the Democratic-controlled state Senate. [link removed]
