Friend, until last year, Roe v. Wade upheld the constitutional right to an abortion, empowering Americans to make their own choices about their bodies and futures.

But the Supreme Court ruling on Dobbs overturned 50 years of precedent, striking down Roe and ending the constitutional right to abortion in America. 

Republicans have spent years stacking the courts and passing extreme legislation in states across the country to get to this point – and they won't stop now. A national abortion ban is next.

We can't let this happen. To prevent a national abortion ban, we must defend our Democratic Senate majority and take back the House. GOP-controlled state legislatures moved quickly to limit abortion rights following the Supreme Court's barbaric decision. Thirteen states with "trigger laws" have banned abortion altogether. But let me be clear: Overturning Roe was never the end goal. Republicans want to make abortion illegal everywhere. 

I am appalled. In all my time working as a reproductive rights advocate, including my tenure as president of Planned Parenthood, I have never seen a more dire moment for the future of our fundamental rights in America.

It will take all of us to fight back. But we need your support today to do what we need to do to prevent extreme anti-abortion Republicans from gaining more power.
