As if plunging the U.S. into a national security crisis at home and abroad wasn't enough, this week Trump announced his plan to divert an additional seven billion dollars in Pentagon funds toward his racist and ineffective wall.

Time and again Trump made campaign promises about "Mexico paying for the wall" but all he's done since taking office is force military families to foot the bill. His monument to racism has come at the cost of military families and veterans every single time.

Right now we're one of the only organizations that can move our influence from swing state to swing state and play an effective ground game in critical and competitive races this year.

We have a number of endorsed veterans in key Senate races, and lately, we've been more focused on raising money for them than for ourselves. So we need some help to close the gap on our fundraising goals if we want to maintain the level of support it will take to win.
