One of the bravest things someone can do is ask for help.

It’s not a sign of cowardice, it’s a sign of courage. It’s not a weakness — it’s a superpower.

I grew up poor and needed help just to get three square meals a day, so I took advantage of school lunch programs.

There was no way I could afford college on my own. I needed help, and took advantage of Pell Grants.

Coming home from war in Iraq was not easy. I knew PTSD was waiting for me in the future. I needed help and got it. Therapy. And it made a huge difference.

When I look at some of the hardest times in my life, making it through requires asking for, and receiving, help.

Now I am in the midst of one of the most important decisions of my life, and I know I cannot do it without your help.

No one person can run against Senator Sinema and a Republican nominee by themselves. Not even a United States Marine. And I get closer and closer to my decision, I really need to know you are with me. Because if you are, I think we’re going to do this. And I think we’re going to win. So please:

I am asking for help. Please use this link to contribute whatever you can afford today, to my campaign. If I run against Senator Sinema, that’s a donation we can use on day one.

Thank you for your help.
