One of the bravest things someone can do is ask for help.
It’s not a sign of cowardice, it’s a sign of courage. It’s not a weakness — it’s a superpower.
I grew up poor and needed help just to get three square meals a day, so I took advantage of school lunch programs.
There was no way I could afford college on my own. I needed help, and took advantage of Pell Grants.
Coming home from war in Iraq was not easy. I knew PTSD was waiting for me in the future. I needed help and got it. Therapy. And it made a huge difference.
When I look at some of the hardest times in my life, making it through requires asking for, and receiving, help.
Now I am in the midst of one of the most important decisions of my life, and I know I cannot do it without your help.
No one person can run against Senator Sinema and a Republican nominee by themselves. Not even a United States Marine. And I get closer and closer to my decision, I really need to know you are with me. Because if you are, I think we’re going to do this. And I think we’re going to win. So please:
