Dear Friends,

As I begin my 4th week in office, I want to again express my thanks for your support. Every day I meet with neighbors, entrepreneurs, artists and advocates, all striving to make Knoxville thrive. Every day I get to work with the amazing people who keep this city running. Every day I am working hard for the people of Knoxville. I love my job!

It has been a whirlwind of activity. Just in the last week I met with my fellow Mayors from Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis, had coffee with Presidential candidate and former Mayor of NYC, Mike Bloomberg, took a walking tour of Caswell Park and the Standard Knitting Mill site with Parkridge neighbors, and toured new improvements to Augusta Quarry by mountain bike with Councilwoman Lauren Rider.
