Dear Friends,

As I begin my 4th week in office, I want to again express my thanks for your support.  Every day I meet with neighbors, entrepreneurs, artists and advocates, all striving to make Knoxville thrive.  Every day I get to work with the amazing people who keep this city running.  Every day I am working hard for the people of Knoxville.  I love my job!

It has been a whirlwind of activity.  Just in the last week I met with my fellow Mayors from Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis, had coffee with Presidential candidate and former Mayor of NYC, Mike Bloomberg, took a walking tour of Caswell Park and the Standard Knitting Mill site with Parkridge neighbors, and toured new improvements to Augusta Quarry by mountain bike with Councilwoman Lauren Rider. If you would like to keep up with this work, please follow me via my official mayoral social media accounts.

Today, January 14th, 2020, is the final deadline to accept campaign donations related to the general election.  If you can contribute towards the cost of maintaining the website, staying connected to supporters and other expenses, I would appreciate it.

Warm Regards and Stay in Touch!

The swearing-in, December 21st, 2019.

Meeting with Mayors from Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis.

Heading to coffee with Mayor Mike Bloomberg.

Listening to Parkridge neighbors share ideas about Standard Knitting Mill and surrounding park and neighborhood.

Mountain-biking with Councilwoman Lauren Rider and Shawn Fitzpatrick, from city engineering, who just happened to be on the same trail at the same time.
