The final FEC deadline of the year is in just two days. But before I ask you to make a contribution to my campaign, I want to explain why this deadline and your support are important.

First up, this is an official deadline. That means that, once we close the books, we’re required to publicly report our fundraising — including what we’ve raised and how many people have donated. Republicans, pundits and the gun lobby will all be looking at our numbers. So we cannot risk showing any signs of vulnerability for our opponents to exploit.

I’m grateful for every donation — no matter the size — because each one makes a difference. So if you have it in your budget to make your first donation before 2022 ends, please know that it would mean a lot to me.

So please, will you contribute whatever you can afford before the final FEC deadline of 2022? I would not ask if this wasn’t so important.

In the Senate, I’ve tried to speak truth to power, whether it be standing up to Republicans or powerful interests like the gun lobby and oil and gas industry.

Throughout it all, I have tried to fight for working families and our shared values. Progress has not always been as fast as we want, but together, we’ve made significant strides. My hope is that I’ve earned your trust and support.
