As we head into the New Year, we’re taking a look back at 2022, and reflecting on how much we have to be grateful for. We are grateful for our founder Dean Karlan’s recent appointment

as USAID's Chief Economist. This is a huge step forward in ensuring that USAID funds are invested in evidence-backed interventions, which is "good for almost all of humanity,” as a member of our Board recently put it.

We are grateful for the impact we were able to achieve in 2022, and are looking forward to an even more impactful 2023. From the award-winning
