Ready for some Pure Michigan powder?

The Porcupine Mountains Winter Sports Complex [ [link removed] ], located just inside the entrance to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula, will open its slopes Friday, Dec. 30!

There's something for everyone: first-timers, aspiring intermediates, thrill seekers, trail enthusiasts and anybody looking for some snowy outdoor fun!

You'll find stellar views of Lake Superior, a natural terrain park, glades (woodsy trails cut between each run) and a triple chairlift. There are also groomed winter trails open to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat-tire biking. All you need is a Recreation Passport [ [link removed] ] to enter the park and a lift ticket [ [link removed] ] to use the triple lift.
