John, thanks to your support, our work at the NDRC made a huge impact in the midterm elections. Together, we helped our Democracy Defenders:

✨ Win eight gubernatorial offices
✨ Win three secretary of state races
✨ Flip four state legislative chambers
✨ Protect six legislative chambers with Democratic majorities
✨ …and more!

You should be incredibly proud of the work you did to make those victories a reality. But as President Barack Obama made clear, our work to defend democracy must continue:

Barack Obama (via Twitter):

"In this election, millions of people cast their ballots for an America that is more fair, more just, more equal, and more free.

While we still have a lot of work to do as a nation, this keeps us moving forward.

Our democracy is resilient as long as we stay engaged and active between elections."

President Obama is right – we made incredible progress, but our fight is far from over. Republican politicians have already signaled that they no longer view redistricting as a once-in-a-decade event. Instead, they intend to continue manipulating the maps.

That’s why our team at the NDRC doesn’t take time off between elections. We’re playing the long game, and we’re working day in and day out to secure fair maps, help elect fair-minded judges, protect voting rights, and more.

Now, we need to know:

Will you stay engaged and donate to support the NDRC’s work?

Or will you hold back, and let map manipulators undo our progress?

Not a chance! I’m donating to the NDRC > [link removed]

We’re counting on you, John. We hope you’ll choose to stay engaged.
