Dear John,

Donald Trump is planning to open thousands of acres of land near Sequoia, Kings
Canyon and Yosemite National Parks in California for new drilling and fracking
projects.

This plan would result in irreversible harm to some of America’s most iconic
landscapes. Visitors to Sequoia could be faced with air pollution from fossil
fuel projects while exploring the park’s trails and waterfalls.

We’re not going to let Trump destroy our wild places on our watch. But we need
your help to stop him. If 75% of the people reading this email donate before
midnight, we’ll reach our fundraising goal. We can’t do this without you,
John.

Stop Trump from exposing our wild places to Big Oil: Donate $10 or more and your
gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar!

Trump’s corruption and greed are destroying irreplaceable public lands from
Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante to the Arctic Refuge. Now, he’s
doubling down with this handout of public lands in California.

Sequoia National Park is home to the massive Giant Sequoia trees that are one of
our nation’s greatest national treasures. The park supports communities living
nearby who depend on it for tourism as well. But Trump wants to throw all that
away to help his Big Oil friends.

Drilling and fracking destroys our wild places, spews toxic air pollution and
jeopardizes human health. What’s more, these projects release fossil fuel
emissions that fuel the climate crisis -- all while scientists say we have less
than 10 years to avert the worst impacts.

If we can’t stop the Trump Administration in California, nowhere will be safe.
We could see mining in the Smoky Mountains, offshore drilling in Glacier Bay,
and even fracking in the Everglades -- nothing is off-limits for this
administration. If we don’t act now, these wild places will never be the same.

Protect California’s iconic landscape from Big Oil: Donate $10 or more NOW!

Friends of the Earth members like you have played a crucial role in stopping
Trump’s attacks on our public lands. Your support fueled a campaign to fire
Trump’s corrupt Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke. You sent thousands of
comments to the Trump Administration opposing fossil fuel leasing -- and the
administration took some of its proposed leases off the table.

But we’re still facing an uphill battle. Trump installed David Bernhardt -- a
former fossil fuel industry lobbyist -- to replace Ryan Zinke. Bernhardt will
stop at nothing to put his Big Oil buddies ahead of our environment, wildlife
and communities. So we need your help more urgently than ever to stop him.

Friends of the Earth won’t let Trump and Bernhardt get away with putting
corporate profits ahead of Americans’ health and futures. We’re the world’s
largest grassroots environmental network -- and our planet has never needed us
more.

But our critical work to protect public lands and save the Earth from climate
catastrophe is only possible because of the generous support of members like you
who care about a just, sustainable future. Will you give $10 or more right now
to power our efforts to protect the Earth from pollution, greed and ruin?

Help stop Trump from destroying the only Earth we’ll ever have: Donate $10 or
more today!
