Sequoia National Park is home to the massive Giant Sequoia trees that are one of our nation’s greatest national treasures. The park supports communities living nearby who depend on it for tourism as well. But Trump wants to throw all that away to help his Big Oil friends.
Drilling and fracking destroys our wild places, spews toxic air pollution and jeopardizes human health. What’s more, these projects release fossil fuel emissions that fuel the climate crisis -- all while scientists say we have less than 10 years to avert the worst impacts.
