There tends to be a lot of confusion when it comes to fevers in children. Parents often panic when their child has an elevated temperature, even if it’s not technically a fever. Letting your baby sleep on the sofa while you do chores might seem innocent enough, but beware – sleeping on a sofa places a baby at a 49 to 67 percent increased risk for death.
