The premier voice on sane marijuana policy in America   Dear John, Today, Rachel Lu of the National Review authored an excellent article entitled "Slowing the Growth of Weed." In it, she says: "There are also some newer faces, such as Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM), which calls for a “third-way approach to marijuana policy” based on “reputable science and sound principles of public health and safety.” Groups such as SAM are trying to thread a needle, looking for ways to stymie commercial markets and the social normalization of marijuana without imposing harsh penalties on users." The full article can be read here. We're proud to be on the front lines of marijuana policy in the United States. But we can't do it without you. If you haven't considered an end of year donation to meet our $5M goal, please do! When you donate to SAM, you're helping us raise awareness about the harms of marijuana and educate parents, stakeholders, and lawmakers about the unintended consequences of marijuana normalization. Your donations are why we stand a chance in this fight, so please consider continuing your support with a tax-deductible gift today. If you prefer to mail a check, that can be done at 107 S. West St, Suite 157, Alexandria, VA 22314. And don't forget, your donation will be matched 100%! It's not too late! Donate to SAM I am so thankful for you and everything you have done to help further our goal of fighting Big Pot and its addiction-for-profit scheme.
