Dear Friend,
The final countdown is ON! In just a few short days, the barrage of political emails and texts will stop flooding your inbox. The endless loop of candidate ads will disappear from your TV and computer screen. And we'll know who will be our next governor and lieutenant governor, who controls the state legislature, and if we were able to wrestle power from the hands of the GOP in local seats throughout the state.
But for now, I'm leaving it all on the line. I don't want to wake up on November 9th with any regrets. I don't want to have any doubts -- could I have made one more phone call, knocked on one more door? Did I do everything I possibly could to make sure our slate of Democratic women candidates had the resources they needed to win?
We do this work because we know it makes a difference. Ruth's List has been on the front lines throughout election cycles since 2008. We've raised more than $7 million for our candidates, and helped elect more than 200 Democratic pro-choice women to state and local office -- many of them first-time candidates. We've always known this would be a marathon, not a sprint, and that changing the political landscape was going to take significant investment.
Our work doesn't stop after election day. In fact, we've already made our first endorsement in the 2023 cycle (read on to learn more) . But we look forward to taking a moment to celebrate our victories and supporting each other as we process our losses. We've worked our hearts out and we all deserve some rest. But then, we'll get right back to the business of recruiting Democratic pro-choice women to run for office, because our future depends on it!

Have you voted yet? No reason to wait until election day -- you can vote early through this Sunday, November 6th. And if you still have your mail-in ballot, it's too late to mail, so make sure to drop it off at your local supervisor of elections office [[link removed]] by Election Day.

2023 ENDORSEMENTS
While all eyes are on November, we know spring will be here soon enough. That's why we've already begun making endorsements in the 2023 cycle.
Our first endorsement of 2023 is Donna Deegan for Mayor of Jacksonville. This is a critical race Democrats cannot afford to ignore. Early support is the key to victory, and with Donna’s experience, resilience, and tenacity, we have the opportunity to elect the first woman Mayor of Jacksonville, and flip this seat blue.
Donna is a proud Jacksonville native, award-winning local television news anchor, philanthropist, and author. A three-time breast cancer survivor, she founded The DONNA Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance and support to families living with breast cancer and funds groundbreaking breast cancer research.
